After death and mourning, grief can inspire a person to create whatever they want; if they want. The act of creating turns a grieving person's isolation into a more peaceful solitude. In the midst of the reality shift that comes from the inevitable, a forgotten thought is conditioned in silence to become an idea. This idea brings potential. The process of manifesting this idea is where the magic happens, because sooner or later you look at this creation and think... Who the hell came up with this?

Grief is reality shifting. Grief is the Ultimate Hero’s Journey. The heroes Luke Skywalker and Harry Potter have access to unexplainable power in their stories: The Force and Magic. They spend their whole adventure painstakingly learning how to control it, only to find in the end that in order to master it, they have to surrender themselves to it, which is only possible if one does so with humility without selfish or vicious intentions. I believe each and every one of us have access to a similar wellspring. That source is imagination. Access to that source comes from the study, experimentation, and practice of/with the arts. The amplifiers of these powers are reasonable virtues and ethics. Most importantly, what stabilizes this power is empathy. Only when you can empathize with others, can you truly surrender over to your very own super power, causing you to be the most effective player you can possibly be. You cannot surrender and have access to the source in your own figurative shoes; Moses had to remove his shoes to hear from the burning bush.
